COVID-19 Updates

Dear Magnolia Veterinary Clinic Clients,

At Magnolia Veterinary Clinic, it is our priority to keep people and pets healthy. As the coronavirus
(COVID-19) continues to spread globally, we are taking appropriate precautions to address the
outbreak by following guidelines from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). Our
current approach and response to COVID-19 is outlined below.

Curbside Services:
As of Thursday March 19th, we are requesting all clients to remain in their cars. Our lobby will be
closed but we will still be open. The safety and health of our clients, patients and team members are
of the utmost priority at Magnolia Veterinary Clinic and we are following CDC guidelines. The
recommendation for social distancing is staying 6 feet away from other people and reduce the
spread of COVID19. Please call the office at (561) 450-6177 when you arrive at the clinic for your
appointment. You will then be transferred to a technician to discuss your pets needs and history over
the phone. The technician will then retrieve your pet from your car and we’ll perform a physical exam
in the hospital. The doctor will call you at that time to discuss any findings and the plan moving
forward. Your pet will be brought back out to you when finished. The clinic will not provide any
treatments without owner’s consent. We will also be offering clients the option to drop off their pets
and we can call for pick up at a later time that day. If a client prefers to stay with their pet in an exam
room, please let us know and we will accommodate that by having a team member escort you from
your car into an exam room.

For clients requesting medication refills and prescription diets please call ahead of time so our team
members can have this ready for you. The team member will also deliver these items to your car.
We ask for medication refills to please call 24 hours in advance to allow time for medications to be
approved and filled. We can arrange to deliver needed food/medications to your door by utilizing our
online store as well.

Team members will have the ability to take payments over the phone or by mobile payment
curbside. We ask that payment be made with credit card if possible, to expedite the process but
cash will still be accepted as well.

If you have symptoms of acute respiratory illness, you should self-quarantine or seek medical
attention as stated by the CDC. Please refrain from coming to our office if:

• You have a fever, cough, or are sneezing or
• You have flu-like symptoms or
• You have exposure to people or locations with documented COVID-19 cases in the past three
weeks.

To protect the health of you and our team, please ask a friend or family member to bring your pet in
if you are sick or consider postponing wellness visits until at least two weeks after you are well.

Please call our office at (561)450-6177 if you have any questions regarding the new protocols we
are taking to fight the COVID19 spread. Given this is a rapidly developing situation, we will continue
to monitor developments and update our course of action as new information becomes available
through the CDC. We know it’s a stressful time, but please believe that your pets are safe and that
you are safe around your pets. If you have any more questions, we’re here to help!
